STUDIO / A LITTLE GUIDANCE
Bring the clothing item. Give it a direction. Check every detail.

The clothing item defines the product. Person and setting references have separate roles.
Inspect the colour, details and condition. Worn imagery illustrates a look, not measured fit.
Upload a clothing item, choose a creative direction, plan up to eight individual shots and save or export your shoot brief. Sign in to create images or save private cloud copies. The Studio checks image availability before confirmation, and Pricing shows pack costs and current payment availability.
You can plan a shoot before signing in. Sign in or create an account, verify your email and return to your saved brief before creating an image. When the trial is open, eligible accounts can create one original and use one included edit attempt without a card. Image availability is shown at the top of the builder. After the free original, choose a one-time image pack before another original or further edit; your brief stays saved. Payment never generates an image automatically, and you review each request before confirming. If image creation is temporarily unavailable, signing in or buying a pack does not reopen it.
No. Choose and confirm one shot at a time, so you can review its result before requesting another. One original uses one credit and includes one refinement attempt. Further refinements use one credit. A hero shot and a full-look shot are two requests and use two credits. Supported reference uploads are included; planning and downloading an existing result do not use credits.
Yes, if it shows the whole clothing piece and you have rights to process both the image and the design. A standalone artwork or text image is not a clothing reference. Printed words, logos and placement can change; inspect them before using a result. Check your marketplace's image rules before replacing any listing photos.
Start with a clear front view of one clothing item. Add its back for a back-view shot, a close-up for a detail shot and an optional label. Keep the whole item visible in even light. Avoid filters that alter its colour or condition.
Yes. In Direction, choose Use a person photo under The cast. Upload one or two clear photos of the same adult aged 18 or older - yourself, a friend or a model who has agreed to this use. A clear selfie or everyday photo is enough to guide the face. Keep it visible and unobstructed. A full-body photo is optional and helps guide proportions; face-only references use illustrative body proportions. Confirm that you have permission to process the photos with Foltara and OpenAI. Face and clothing item details still need review; an exact likeness or fit is not guaranteed. Person photos are excluded from saved drafts and expire after one day.
Yes. The setting has its own reference slot, separate from the four clothing item slots and two person slots. Choose Setting only or Match the shoot, and confirm rights to process the photo. A shoot reference can guide pose, light and camera; you can also choose your own pose.
You can supply up to four clothing pieces, using four product-reference photos total. Choose the pieces and framing for each shot. The cast supports one adult; duo models and groups are not supported.
The direction studies are original AI concepts. Separately labelled clothing-to-result comparisons show actual Foltara generations from owned references. Neither proves guaranteed product accuracy: inspect your own result against your authorised clothing photos. Generated imagery can change details or suggest a fit that has not been measured. Compare construction, colour and condition before approving any output.
Drafts save in this browser by default. Use Save cloud copy in Review to store a separate brief with clothing item and setting references in your account. Person photos and generated results are excluded. Open cloud copies from My account on another device. Export local briefs and download results you want to keep. Older projects remain available through Earlier work.
The free original and each successful paid original include one refinement attempt of that original. It creates a separate version and keeps the first image saved. Unsent technical failures restore the allowance. Once the billable provider request starts, the included attempt is used even if it fails. Refinement chains do not grant additional included attempts. Request it while the saved source references are available: hosted clothing item and scene uploads expire after 7 days, person uploads after 1 day. Further versions use one credit. This is a correction allowance, not a guarantee of a particular result.
The request is saved before dispatch. Check the same request's status rather than starting it again: duplicate confirmation recovers that request. Known failures and uncertain provider outcomes are kept separate, with no blind paid retries. Customer-credit recovery and provider spending are tracked separately. A safety check reduces avoidable failures but cannot guarantee acceptance or a particular result.
Yes. My shoots can copy the creative choices and shot plan into a new project. It does not copy clothing item or person photographs, and it does not guarantee an identical model across future images.
